Intellectual property protects certain creations of the mind, including inventions, literary works, artistic works, designs, and symbols. The most commonly used areas of intellectual property in our library are Patents, Copyrights, Trademarks, and Trade Secrets. Intellectual Property also includes Industrial Designs and Geographical Indications.
This guide will provide an overview of the larger fields and highlight the many resources available in the library as well as outside materials which can be useful. We have many treatises and practice guides, online databases, and law journals that are free for everyone to use.
Look for the Guide Outline on the left-hand side of the page to navigate through this guide, or you can always use the tabs located at the top of the page.
